VALVE RECONDIOTING
Time-saving, cost-efficient and circular valve refurbishment through an exchange-based approach.
DB Tankshell Reconditioning supports operators and depots by supplying technically refurbished tank container valves, allowing damaged or worn valves to be replaced quickly without waiting for internal repair.
Instead of dismantling and rebuilding a valve within the workshop, a reconditioned valve can be installed directly. The used valve can then be returned to DB Tankshell Reconditioning, where it is disassembled, inspected and refurbished for future use.
This exchange-based approach helps reduce downtime, save costs and supports the circular reuse of technical components.
Our Refurbish Process
Through a controlled refurbishment process, valves are fully disassembled, inspected and restored where technically possible. Functional components are reused, while worn or damaged parts are replaced where required.
This process may include:
Complete disassembly of the valve assembly
Internal inspection of sealing surfaces and moving components
Cleaning and removal of residues or corrosion
Replacement of worn components where necessary
Mechanical function testing and verification
All valves are inspected and tested before being released for service, ensuring reliable operation and continued compliance with operational requirements.

By combining technical refurbishment, circular reuse and efficient turnaround, we help extend component life while supporting cost control and operational continuity.
